About the Role
We are seeking experienced Lead Restoration Technicians to join our South East London team. You will take a leading role on site, overseeing restoration works and supporting technicians to deliver high‑quality service across residential and commercial properties. This is a hands‑on field role where you will be responsible for leading jobs, ensuring technical standards are met, and supporting the successful completion of restoration projects within your allocated postcode area.
Working Pattern:
- 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday (site‑based)
- Start and finish directly at client sites
- No overtime payment (salary reflects revised structure and reduced travel time)
- Work allocated within East London to minimise travel time
On‑Call Rota:
- 1 in 10 weeks on‑call requirement
- Allowance paid: £30 per weekday
- £50 per weekend day
- Payment applies even if not called out
- Additional earning potential up to approx. £250 per on‑call week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead restoration works on site across South East London properties
- Supervise and support Restoration Technicians
- Carry out site assessments and determine appropriate restoration methods
- Ensure all works are completed to required technical and safety standards
- Manage job progress, reporting, and documentation
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal teams
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures
- Support and guide junior team members where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in restoration/mitigation (water, fire, mould damage, etc.)
- Previous supervisory or lead technician experience preferred
- Strong technical understanding of restoration equipment and processes
- Confident decision‑maker on site
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence required
