As a Research Scientist, you’ll join a passionate and highly collaborative team working at the intersection of biology, data, and technology. You’ll take a hands-on role in the lab, designing and executing experiments that drive discovery, validation, and innovation at the heart of the company’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, perform, and analyse experiments that advance the company’s core discovery programs.
- Develop, optimise, and validate new assays, methods, and workflows to support R&D objectives.
- Maintain precise experimental documentation (ELNs, data reports, internal presentations).
- Present findings to leadership and cross-functional teams, influencing scientific direction and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with computational scientists, engineers, and biologists to integrate experimental and data-driven insights.
- Evaluate and implement emerging tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance R&D productivity.
- Contribute to establishing lab infrastructure, culture, and operational best practices in a fast-growing environment.
About You
Education & Experience
- PhD (or MSc with substantial hands-on experience) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related Life Science field.
- Postdoctoral or early-stage industry experience preferred — but creativity, curiosity, and impact are what truly stand out.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in molecular and/or cellular biology techniques.
- Familiarity with assay development, data analysis, and experimental optimisation.
- Prior experience in biotech or startup R&D is an advantage.
