As part of continued expansion in the UK market, they are now seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to lead and grow clinical adoption, training, and sales performance across the region.
The Role
As Clinical Sales Manager (UK), you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving clinical utilisation, adoption, and growth of the company's medical device portfolio across your territory. You will act as the senior clinical and commercial lead in the UK, managing installations, surgeon training, and utilisation growth, while also building, developing, and leading a high-performing clinical sales team. This role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise, sales strategy, and people leadership, requiring credibility in the operating theatre as well as the ability to execute against ambitious commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the clinical expert for targeted procedures and device applications within your region.
- Drive increased clinical utilisation across existing hospital accounts.
- Expand adoption by training and supporting new clinicians across relevant specialties.
- Lead and execute clinical sales strategies aligned with regional and European growth objectives.
- Support complex sales cycles, customer presentations, and key account engagements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a UK-based clinical sales team.
- Coach team members on clinical knowledge, sales execution, and customer engagement.
- Identify skills gaps and implement targeted training and development plans.
- Lead by example in customer-facing activity and clinical excellence.
Installations, Training & Growth
- Oversee and lead new system installations, upgrades, and expansions within the installed base.
- Manage training and education programmes for clinicians and hospital teams.
- Ensure successful onboarding of new sites and sustained utilisation growth post-installation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with European HQ and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Customer Success, Service, and Government Affairs.
- Partner with capital sales and enabling functions to deliver integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to regional and European strategic initiatives as directed by senior leadership.
About You
- University degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years in medical device sales.
- Strong background in clinical sales within a hospital-based environment.
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving utilisation growth and complex sales cycles.

- Strong clinical credibility and commercial acumen.
- Results-driven, with a track record of delivering against ambitious targets.
- Confident operating in matrixed, international organisations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable managing remote teams and working autonomously.
