EU Accounts Payable Specialist – Fixed Term Maternity Cover

The role and the team
You will join the accounts payable team, working closely with carriers and carrier reps to investigate payment queries, request documents, and process daily payments. As a specialist, you will ensure all work is completed accurately, following company policies and accounting principles. You\’ll be part of a friendly and dedicated team committed to collective success.
Key Responsibilities
- Create payments within Oracle Cloud and bank platforms (approx. 12 payments daily)
- Manage SG&A invoices from approval to payment
- Maintain vendor and supplier details
- Monitor unvouchered items and ensure timely receipt of documents
- Open, review, and distribute physical mail
- Manage incidents on loads and escalate as needed
- Resolve carrier/vendor complaints with internal reps
- Review carrier statements for accuracy
- Respond to queries via shared inboxes from internal and external parties
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experiences
- Excellent communication skills (phone and email)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
- Fluency in English
