Summary of Role:
To design, develop and manage an effective and innovative curriculum, building a portfolio of high-quality programmes which deliver on our client’s mission of equipping learners with the right skills to win.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Operational
- Design and develop programmes of learning that meet the highest standards in terms of quality of education, including Ofsted expectations, ESFA Apprenticeship Accountability Framework requirements, apprenticeship standards, client needs, and competitor insight.
- Build, monitor, and maintain compliant learning plans for our client’s delivery programmes, ensuring they align with quality requirements and client expectations.
- Use feedback from clients, learners, and stakeholders to continuously improve programmes and meet KPIs such as QAR, NPS, and EPA achievement rates.
- Support the programme revision calendar, ensuring awareness of formal updates and evaluating their impact.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging, innovative masterclass and digital content that reflects pedagogical best practice and integrates digital skill enhancement.
- Participate in discovery calls with clients and the internal sales team to contextualise apprenticeships, embedding that insight into content that supports measurable ROI.
- Ensure curriculum content effectively integrates wider learning themes, including Safeguarding, Prevent, and Maths and English, to enrich and contextualise the learner experience.
- Support the development and definition of key learning solutions processes to ensure a standardised and consistent approach to learning plans, masterclass design, and digital learning content.
- Maintain effective communication with key internal stakeholders to update them on programme developments and changes.
- Provide product and curriculum support to the sales team when required.
- Keep informed of upcoming changes to apprenticeship standards and evaluate their impact on programme structure, delivery, and commercial considerations.
- Stay updated on changes within core business systems (e.g., Aptem, Rise), implementing improvements that enhance learner outcomes, experience, or operational efficiency.
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend innovative ways to enhance learning delivery—improving engagement, learning effectiveness, or cost-efficiency.
