The Role Following significant investment in technology and go-to-market strategy, Zellis is well-positioned for long-term growth. As part of this next phase, we’re looking to appoint an Indirect Tax Manager. This role will lead indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and act as a key advisor on tax matters as the business expands globally through organic growth and M&A. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Group CFO and Finance Directors. Key Responsibilities: Indirect Tax Compliance Manage all indirect tax filings, including: UK and Irish VAT groups (incl. partial exemption) US Sales Tax and Nexus monitoring Global expansion into jurisdictions like Germany, Sweden, and the Philippines Review contracts and revenue streams to ensure correct tax treatment Lead indirect tax audits and VAT health checks Business Partnering Build strong relationships across the business Advise on tax implications of commercial plans and international expansion Support M&A due diligence and integration of acquisitions Risk Management & Governance Help shape the tax governance framework (SAO, BRR, CCO) Review VAT cash forecasts and tax balance sheet accounts Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation You’ll manage and support a team member based in Kochi, India. Background ACA / CTA qualified newly or recently qualified (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in indirect taxes, or ATT qualified with significant relevant experience. Experience with USA sales taxes and European VAT is highly desirable. Previous experience with NetSuite is also advantageous. Ability to communicate complex technical topics to key stakeholders including non-finance / tax people. Experience of working across multiple key projects simultaneously.
