We're looking for a commercially-minded Treasury Analystto join a growing treasury function that's embracing technology, automation and data-led decision making.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional cash management into a role where you'll help modernise treasury processes, develop sophisticated cashflow forecasting models and explore how technologies such as AI and Python can improve financial insight and operational efficiency.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Treasury and wider finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting the organisation's liquidity, cash forecasting and treasury reporting activities while helping identify opportunities to automate and improve existing processes.

Responsibilities will include

  • Producing and maintaining short, medium and long-term cashflow forecasts.
  • Developing and enhancing cashflow models to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Supporting daily liquidity management and cash positioning.
  • Monitoring banking activity and maintaining strong banking relationships.
  • Preparing treasury reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Assisting with foreign exchange and funding activities where required.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual treasury processes.
  • Supporting the use of AI, data analytics and emerging technologies within treasury.
  • Working with finance and technology teams to improve treasury systems and reporting.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and treasury transformation initiatives.

About You

We're looking for someone with around

2-4 years' experience within a treasury or corporate finance environment who enjoys combining finance with technology.

You’ll ideally have

  • 2-4 years' treasury experience.
  • Experience preparing or maintaining cashflow forecasts.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exposure to Python or a desire to develop Python programming skills.
  • An interest in AI, automation and data-driven finance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
  • A proactive approach and genuine curiosity to improve how things are done.

Desirable

  • Exposure to treasury management systems.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data tools.
  • Understanding of FX, liquidity management or banking products.
  • Progress towards or completion of ACT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
