We are supporting a highly regarded professional services organisation in the appointment of a Commercial Finance Business Partner on a 12‑month fixed term basis. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, pricing and performance, partnering directly with senior leaders to shape commercial decisions, improve profitability and strengthen financial insight across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating as a senior commercial sounding board to partners and leadership teams
- Bringing clarity to complex financial data, turning insight into actionable decisions
- Supporting pricing strategy, client economics and bid activity in a highly competitive market
- Driving improvement in financial reporting, commercial tools and decision‑making frameworks
- Contributing to wider change and transformation initiatives across the firm
- Coaching and developing junior finance talent within the team
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong commercial instincts
- Experience partnering senior stakeholders in a complex, professional or knowledge‑led environment
- Confident challenging assumptions and influencing outcomes, not just reporting numbers
- Strong Excel and modelling capability, with an ability to simplify and communicate insight
- Comfortable operating in an environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the job
