Interim Commercial Finance Manager – Bristol-based retail / hospitality business is seeking an Interim Commercial Finance Manager to support the senior leadership team during a key trading and planning period. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role, sitting close to operations and trading teams, with real influence over decision-making.

The Role

  • Act as a true finance business partner to commercial, operations and leadership teams
  • Own weekly and monthly trading performance, including sales, margin, labour and cost-to-serve
  • Deliver clear insight, analysis and challenge around profitability, pricing and promotional effectiveness
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting and re-forecasting, with a strong grip on volume and margin drivers
  • Support scenario modelling and "what-if" analysis around trading and cost pressures
  • Translate numbers into clear, practical recommendations for non-finance stakeholders

The Ideal Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Proven interim experience in a retail, hospitality or consumer-facing business
  • Strong commercial acumen with exposure to multi-site or high-volume environments
  • Confident operating in fast-paced, changeable settings
  • Able to get up to speed quickly and add value from day one
