We are supporting a growing business with the appointment of a Finance Manager to strengthen core financial control while developing broader commercial and business-partnering capability. This role is well suited to a 2–4 year PQE qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who is confident in month-end delivery and keen to step into a more rounded, forward-looking finance role.

The Role

Reporting into a senior finance leader, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day financial control while being actively supported to build skills across modelling, analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Ownership of management accounts and variance analysis
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and processes
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and scenario/what-if modelling
  • Partnering with non-finance stakeholders to help interpret financial performance
  • Ad-hoc commercial analysis to support decision-making

About You

  • Qualified accountant with 2–4 years PQE
  • Strong grounding in financial control and month-end processes
  • Comfortable working with management accounts and balance sheets
  • Keen to develop business partnering and financial modelling skills
  • Commercially curious, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions
  • Advanced Excel skills; modelling experience welcomed but not essential
