An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast-paced business in Bristol. This assignment is ideal for a technically strong accountant who thrives in a hands-on role and can quickly add value during a critical period.

The Role

  • Supporting the delivery of month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes
  • Preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls
  • Assisting with VAT, tax and compliance reporting
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
  • Providing ad hoc financial insight and analysis as required

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a financial accounting or reporting role
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (FRS 102 / IFRS)
  • Immediately available or available at short notice
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and adaptable to a changing environment
  • Strong Excel and systems experience (experience with ERP systems desirable)
