We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Pembrokeshire, working on the construction and delivery of a new train station platform and associated car park. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong civil engineering background to join a long-term project on a 12-month contract. Rail experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates with strong civils, infrastructure or highways experience who are comfortable working in a site-based environment are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out works accurately in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Supporting the site team with the delivery of civil engineering works.
- Carrying out site measurements, surveys and checks as required.
- Preparing for upcoming works and ensuring all necessary information is available to the site team.
- Undertaking site assurance and quality checks.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying any issues or discrepancies.
- Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
- Maintaining accurate site records.
