Are you an experienced Traffic Management Operative looking for agency work across East Sussex? We are currently recruiting reliable and professional operatives to support a range of manual traffic control projects throughout the county. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing agency assignments with competitive rates and regular work opportunities.
The Role
Working on behalf of our clients across East Sussex, you will be responsible for the safe management of traffic around roadworks, utility works and highway maintenance projects.
Typical Duties Will Include:
- 2-Way Manual Traffic Control
- Multi-Phase Manual Traffic Control
- Stop/Go Operations
- Road Closures (Gate work)
- Traffic Management Site Maintenance Checks
- Supporting Site Teams with Safe Traffic Flow Management
- Ensuring Health & Safety Procedures are Followed at All Times
- Working on Highway and Utility Projects Across East Sussex
Location: East Sussex
Duration: Ongoing Agency Work - Days, Nights & Weekend Shifts Available
Hours: 10-12 Hour Shifts
Essential Requirements
To be considered for these positions, you must have:
- NRSWA Unit 1 (Signing, Lighting & Guarding)
- LANTRA 12D M1/M2 or 12D M5 Qualification
- Valid Safety Critical Medical
- Clean & Valid DBS Check
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to travel independently to site
- Ability to attend and successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol Test at our Ashford, Kent office
