Our client requires a Construction Planner for an immediate start. Strong potential of a permanent placement. Leeds based, but with the flexibility of hybrid. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, with a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Supporting estimating and operational departments to develop integrated Project Programmes that measure progress across all stages in line with project objectives.
- Progress monitoring and reporting.
- Review and integrate supply-chain programmes.
- Collaborate with on-site project delivery teams to support project goals and meet business unit targets.
- Consistent and reliable programme data provided to the Project Management team.
- Identify potential issues with project plans and assist in proposing solutions to mitigate impact.
- Assess impact of change.
- Supporting project teams with planning systems and processes.
- Contributing to the delivery of accurate and reliable project schedules.
Qualifications and experience
- We require experience in project delivery and planning within the construction industry.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in relevant planning software.
