Our client requires a Construction Planner for an immediate start. Strong potential of a permanent placement. Leeds based, but with the flexibility of hybrid. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting estimating and operational departments to develop integrated Project Programmes that measure progress across all stages in line with project objectives.
  • Progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Review and integrate supply-chain programmes.
  • Collaborate with on-site project delivery teams to support project goals and meet business unit targets.
  • Consistent and reliable programme data provided to the Project Management team.
  • Identify potential issues with project plans and assist in proposing solutions to mitigate impact.
  • Assess impact of change.
  • Supporting project teams with planning systems and processes.
  • Contributing to the delivery of accurate and reliable project schedules.

Qualifications and experience

  • We require experience in project delivery and planning within the construction industry.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in relevant planning software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eagerness to grow in a planning role.
