About the Role:
One of my local goverment clients is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electoral Assistant to support the Electoral Services team during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable public sector experience and contribute to the delivery of democratic processes in the borough.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and delivery of electoral registration and election processes

Maintain and update the electoral register in accordance with legal requirements

Handle queries from the public, candidates, and other stakeholders professionally

Support with mailings, data entry, and verification processes

Work closely with the team to ensure key deadlines are met

Provide general administrative support to the Electoral Services department
Requirements:

Previous administrative or office-based experience is desirable
