One of my local government clients is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electoral Assistant to support the Electoral Services team during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable public sector experience and contribute to the delivery of democratic processes in the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and delivery of electoral registration and election processes

Maintain and update the electoral register in accordance with legal requirements

*

Handle queries from the public, candidates, and other stakeholders professionally

Support with mailings, data entry, and verification processes

*

Work closely with the team to ensure key deadlines are met

Provide general administrative support to the Electoral Services department

Requirements:

Previous administrative or office-based experience is desirable

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
