Our client requires a Construction Planner for an immediate start. Strong potential of a permanent placement. Leeds based, but with the flexibility of hybrid. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, with a collaborative mindset.
Requirements:
- Supporting estimating and operational departments to develop integrated Project Programmes that measure progress across all stages in line with project objectives.
- Progress monitoring and reporting.
- Review and integrate supply-chain programmes.
- Collaborate with on-site project delivery teams to support project goals and meet business unit targets.
- Consistent and reliable programme data provided to the Project Management team.
- Identify potential issues with project plans and assist in proposing solutions to mitigate impact.
- Assess impact of change.
- Supporting project teams with planning systems and processes.
- Contributing to the delivery of accurate and reliable project schedules.
We require experience in project delivery and planning within the construction industry. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in relevant planning software. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eagerness to grow in a planning role.
