One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Business Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role where, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview: To support the team due to the fire at Bicester Motion. There has been an increase in workload following this, so the team need more support overall.

  • Responding to emails, internal and external
  • Diary management (supporting the current PA that works in the Fire Service as she manages the Chief Fire Officer's Diary and their team)
  • Potentially organising catering and other areas, very adhoc
