We are seeking an experienced and motivated Adult Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversight across complex care packages in the Bristol region and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery for individuals with complex needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilation support, spinal injuries, and brain injuries. This role involves both clinical leadership and operational input, including assessments, care planning, package setup, and ongoing clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight across complex care packages
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for new and existing clients
- Develop, review, and implement individualised care plans
- Support the setup and mobilisation of new care packages
- Ensure safe delivery of care for clients with complex needs (including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injury, brain injury)
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to care staff
- Carry out spot checks, competency assessments, and care reviews
- Work closely with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal governance processes
- Support incident management, safeguarding, and risk assessments
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) or equivalent clinical qualification
- Strong experience in complex care settings
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilation care
- Background in spinal injury, brain injury, or neurological care
- Experience in care planning, assessments, and package mobilisation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable Experience:
- Community complex care experience
- Previous clinical lead or senior nurse role
- Experience working within CQC-regulated services
- Training and competency assessment experience
