Paediatric Complex Carer Needed

Location: Gloucestershire

Pay: £16.00 – £20.00 per hour

Hours: Full-time / Part-time | Day & Night Shifts (flexibility required)

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Paediatric Complex Carers to support a child with complex health needs in Gloucester. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to provide personalised, high-quality care within the comfort of the child’s home, helping them thrive and live life to the fullest.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred clinical care
  • BiPAP therapy
  • Suctioning
  • PEG feeding
  • Administer daily and emergency medications safely
  • Support the child’s development, activities, and emotional wellbeing
  • Follow individual care plans and maintain clear, accurate records
  • Work flexibly across a day and night shift rota

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in paediatric complex care (essential)
  • Confident with Gastrostomy button/tube feed, BiPAP, hoist, and non-invasive ventilation care
  • Calm, compassionate, and capable in emergency situations
  • Flexible availability for both day and night shifts
  • Driving licence – desirable
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) – preferred
