About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a young lady with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, visual impairment, and PEG feeding. The client is non‑verbal and requires attentive support for personal care, mobility, feeding, communication, and engagement in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 supervision and support at all times.
  • Assist with personal care, PEG feeding, positioning, and mobility.
  • Support the client in activities, play, and communication using sensory and tactile strategies.
  • Follow guidance from the multidisciplinary team (OT, physio, neuropsychology).
  • Ensure the client’s safety, wellbeing, and comfort at all times.
  • Liaise with family and case managers regarding care needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in complex care, cerebral palsy, or pediatric care.
  • Confident in manual handling, PEG feeding, and 1:1 care.
  • Patient, attentive, and able to provide a stimulating and safe environment.
