Key Responsibilities:
- Providing full personal care and daily living support.
- Assisting with manual handling and hoist transfers.
- Administering medication in line with care plans and company procedures.
- Delivering catheter, bowel and bladder care.
- Recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Building positive relationships with the service user while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Key Job Requirements:
- Previous experience providing care for individuals with spinal injuries.
- Experience recognising and managing Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD).
- Medication competency and manual handling training.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Calm, professional and reliable approach to care delivery.
- A positive, bubbly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Shift Availability:
This role involves supporting a middle-aged gentleman with a spinal injury on a 1:1 basis in Chippenham. Available shifts include:
- Day Shifts: 9:00am – 9:00pm
- Waking Night Shifts: 9:00pm – 9:00am
Shifts are available 7 days per week.
