Job Title: Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker
Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Carer to support children with medical needs in the home. The role involves delivering safe, clinical care including suctioning, cough assist, PEG feeding, and NG tube care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 care for children with complex health needs
- Carry out suctioning and use cough assist equipment confidently
- Administer PEG and NG feeds, including site and tube care
- Monitor and report changes in condition
- Follow individual care plans and safeguarding protocols
Requirements:
- Must be trained and competent in suctioning, cough assist, PEG and NG tube care
- Experience in paediatric complex care (minimum 6 months)
- Enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service
- Excellent communication skills and child-centred approach
