Are you an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Assistant looking for a rewarding permanent role? This position offers competitive pay rates of £14 – £18 per hour, ongoing training, and the opportunity to make a real difference. Shifts are available on a flexible basis, including 12-hour day or night shifts (full-time, part-time, or bank).

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, to provide high-quality 1:1 complex care support for service users with specialist medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Complex Care Assistant with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 complex care support during day or waking night shifts.
  • Delivering high-quality care for clients with complex medical needs, which may include:
    • Tracheostomy care and suctioning
    • BiPAP/CPAP ventilation support
    • PEG feeding and medication administration
    • Repositioning, personal care, and continence support
    • Monitoring and responding to clinical changes
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping and effective communication with the wider care team.
  • Promoting dignity, safety, and independence for service users at all times.

Key Role Requirements:

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 6 months’ experience in complex care or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Confident in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and PEG feeding (training provided if needed).
  • Moving & handling skills, including hoist use.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willingness to apply).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
