Street Lighting Operative
As a Street Lighting Operative, your main responsibilities will be as follows: –
Maintenance of Lighting Columns, lighting brackets, Lanterns, bollards and signs.
The changing of lamps, lanterns, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches.
Assist Street Lighting Electricians with fault finding and repair
Assist with excavations for installations of Feeder Pillars, Lighting columns, Signposts, Bollards, EV Charge points and speed cameras.
Management of onsite point of work risk assessments
Identify and report safety observations
Set up and removal of site traffic management / pedestrian Management.
Responsible for company Property, Equipment and Vehicles.

Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated.
Able to demonstrate technical knowledge and analytical skills.
Must be comfortable working within a team as well as working alone.
Capable of working at height
A good level of written and numerical skills.
A demonstrable ability to learn new processes quickly.
IT skills Excel, Word ability to use a Tablet / Apps.
Full clean UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications
ECS Card to relevant level.
CSCS/NPORS card.
IPAF 1b + Harness and Fall Arrest training.
G39/1 Working in the vicinity of DNO
NRSWA operative training.
302.1 (12D) Traffic Management.
Manual Handling training.
Emergency First Aid (1 Day) training.
