Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers is currently seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer to work in Central London.
Role Summary
As a Static Maintenance Engineer you will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance checks to electrical, mechanical and HVAC plant and equipment. You will service and maintain building services plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards, frequencies and safe working practices. To respond to reactive breakdowns, carry out fault finding and any necessary repairs.
Duties include:
- Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
- Respond to reactive breakdowns at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
- To have a ‘can do’ approach to your work ethos.
- To identify any replacement parts required, obtain costs and order such parts through the company Buyer.
- Provide support to the Contract Managers and Supervisors as requested.
- Report promptly any accidents or incidents, including near misses, on the company accident free phone Help Line.
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies required:
- Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of Building Services Equipment.
- Hold relevant Engineering qualifications.
