School Caretaker | Southwark | Immediate Start\\nLocation: The London Borough of Southwark\\nSchool Type: Secondary School\\nStart Date: ASAP\\nPay: £15 – £19 per hour (depending on experience)\\n\\nAt Coyles, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in Southwark, who are looking for an experienced and dependable School Caretaker to join their site team immediately.\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in caretaking, facilities, or general maintenance to contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning school environment.\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nAs the School Caretaker, you will be responsible for:\\n\\n * General site maintenance and repairs\\n\\n * Opening and securing the premises\\n\\n * Liaising with contractors and school staff\\n\\n * Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the site\\n\\n * Supporting with furniture moves, deliveries, and minor plumbing or electrical work\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or similar hands-on role\\n\\n * A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently\\n\\n * Good communication and organisational skills\\n\\n * A full UK driving licence is highly desirable (but not essential)\\n\\n * An Enhanced DBS is required for this role\\n\\n * If you do not currently have one on the Update Service, you will need to apply for a new DBS.\\n\\n * We can assist in processing a new DBS for successful candidates who do not already hold one.\\n\\nWhy Apply Through Us?\\n\\n * Competitive hourly pay\\n\\n * Friendly, experienced consultants to support you through the process\\n\\n * Fast-tracked compliance and DBS checks available through us\\n\\n * Opportunities for full-time, part-time, short-term, long-term and permanent roles\\n\\n * Offering split shifts and full shifts
