Coyle Personnel are seeking x 4 Mental Health Prison Nurses for long term contracts based throughout the West Midlands. Location: West Midlands Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 16:00/30 PM Pay Rate: £30-£32 per hour Start Date: ASAP Applicants must have prison clearance ideally up to Cat B or higher. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality mental health care to inmates, including assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of prisoners’ mental health needs. • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health needs of inmates. • Manage a caseload, adhering to prison protocols and procedures. • Maintain a high standard of nursing care, including clinical procedures, treatments, and the custody, storage, and administration of drugs. Mandatory Requirements: • Current RMN qualification with active registration. • Valid prison clearance already acquired. • Strong background in prison-based mental health services. • Excellent communication, risk assessment, and crisis intervention skills. • Ability to work independently and adapt to a secure setting.
