Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking an experienced, passionate and skilled Plumbing Tutor to join our Further Education sector at a campus in North West London. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering lessons to the next generation of plumbers. Role Summary: As a Plumbing Tutor, you will be required to deliver NVQ level 1 and 2 learning sessions to students of varying ages. This role requires a positive and friendly individual, with the ability to nurture and inspire their students Responsibilities: * Deliver NVQ Level 1 and 2 plumbing lessons to classes of approximately 15-20 students * Assign work tasks for each session * Able to demonstrate key elements of the session in an easy to understand format * Complete work risk assessments and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others’ safety. * Provide support to Curriculum Managers and the wider college support network (e.g. Support Technicians, Senior Leadership Team and HR) as required * Assist students to complete course work * Guide students to completing assessments Requirements: * Good all-round technical ability with hands on plumbing experience * Hold plumbing trade qualifications. * Experience of training others, ideally within the plumbing industry * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Comprehensive understanding of health and safety within the industry, with the ability to implement control measures at the site level.
