Maintenance Carpenter

Maintenance Carpenter Due to sickness and holidays our customer is currently seeking a Maintenance Carpenter to work within a Hospital environment in Swanscombe This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment. Role Summary: As a Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned and Remedial works within wards, communal areas, offices, break out areas and wash rooms. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities: * Repair and maintain doors, skirting boards, installing new dry marker boards, towel rails, repairing canteen areas, easing locks, repairing / replacing skirting boards * Supporting the wider engineering team with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing tasks as required * Assisting the Fabric team with general building repairs throughout the hospital * Ensure risk assessments are available and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others\’ safety.
