Job Title: Band 7 Sonographer Grade: Band 7 Start Date: ASAP End Date: On-going Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Band 7 Sonographer to join our clients Radiology team. This full-time role is available immediately on an on-going basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across a wide range of examinations. This role is suited to a professional with strong clinical expertise, excellent reporting skills, and a patient-centred approach to care. Key Responsibilities: * Perform and report on a wide range of general and gynaecological ultrasound examinations to a high standard. * Work independently and effectively as part of the radiology and multidisciplinary teams. * Provide support and clinical input where needed for musculoskeletal (MSK) and vascular ultrasound examinations (desirable). * Ensure all clinical work adheres to national and departmental guidelines and protocols. * Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and reports. * Uphold a professional and compassionate approach to patient care, maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality at all times. * Adhere to radiation protection, infection control, and health and safety policies. * Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous service improvement. Requirements: * Recent experience working within UK NHS settings * Proven ability to independently perform and report general and gynaecological ultrasound scans. * Additional experience in MSK and vascular ultrasound is desirable. * HCPC registration (or equivalent professional registration) is essential. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Travel / Accommodation * Return flight paid for by the agency * Accommodation available onsite approx £150 per week (Not covered by agency)
