We are recruiting for a new administrator/receptionist to work for a big client of ours, based in their Swanley office in Kent. Working Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00. This is a temporary position from 15/06/2026 – 31/12/2027.

As an Administrator/Receptionist you will be the key individual to ensure visitors and calls are dealt with in a professional and helpful manner, promoting the company image, values, and behaviours. The ideal candidate will drive and have own transport to ensure they get to and from the office on time.

Responsibilities:
  • To manage the telephone by transferring calls and taking messages with a professional attitude, ensuring calls are picked up in a timely manner and callers are transferred to the correct destination without a delay.
  • Receive and issue courier and mail items, mail sorting, franking and processing efficiently, ensuring items are despatched in a timely manner.
  • Provide refreshments for visitors and meetings.
  • General office housekeeping, ensuring Reception area and Boardroom/Meeting Rooms are kept tidy and respectable to visitors at all times.
  • Check calendar prior to meetings and provide appropriate requirements.
  • Office duties including security passes, telephone lists, faxes, photocopying.
  • Assist Regional Administration Manager as back up for various duties as necessary.
  • Assist Team PA as necessary to ensure efficient service provided to project managers and teams.
  • Raise PPE, stationery orders and office supplies on 1SRM.
  • Inform the client’s Rail systems when on lunch and reception not staffed.
