Job Description
Working with one of our well-established clients, we require PTS workers to join a team with regular weekend work.
Having your own transport to and from the depot is your responsibility.
About the role
Working for a national client, you must be prepared to use a shovel and work in a safety-critical environment. Ideally, a white hat, although applications from blue hats are also accepted. The work may vary weekly but typically involves changing sleepers or preparation works.
Job Type: Temporary contract

Requirements
- PTS sentinel card - valid/in-date
- Small tools tickets
- Skills/ personal qualities needed
- Be strong, with plenty of stamina
- Be energetic and healthy, as the work is physically demanding
- Have good hearing and colour vision
- Be good with their hands
- Cope with working in wet, cold, or very hot weather
- Work well as part of a team
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, as the safety of passengers and smooth train operations depend on them
- Be able to use tools efficiently
- Cope calmly with emergencies
Salary
£19 per hour on weekends
