RAIL CIVILS TEAM LEADER REQUIRED
Manchester South – reporting to Crewe, CW1 6AE
5 October to 24 December 2026
£22.00 per hour
Days and nights available
Day shifts: 07:00-16:00
Night shifts: 22:00-10:00
Long-term requirement with approximately 70 planned shifts
Outside IR35
We require an experienced Civils Team Leader to lead a gang carrying out:
- LOC suite construction
- Route works
- Associated railway civils and ancillary works
Essential requirements:
- Valid PTS
- COSS
- Civils Certificate of Competency/ATW
- Emergency First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Small Tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience leading railway civils gangs
- Proven experience with LOC suites and route works
Additional competencies such as Track Trolley, Stihl Saw, Wacker Plate, RD4000 and Abrasive Wheels would be advantageous.
An in-person induction will take place in Crewe at 07:00 on Monday 5 October.
