Positions Available: 1-2 Operatives
We are currently looking for PTS-qualified Electrician's Mates / Cable Tracing Operatives to support a lead engineer on a major rail communications project at Leeds Station. The role will involve assisting with tag and trace activities across SISS (Station Information and Security Systems) and Operational Communications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cable identification, tagging and tracing
- Assisting lead engineers with surveys and installation activities
- Working within operational railway environments
- Recording cable routes and asset information
- Supporting communications and SISS projects
Requirements:
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
- Previous experience tracing and identifying cables
- Experience working in rail environments preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
