One of our clients is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Admin Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure laboratory operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with internal procedures. This position is particularly well-suited to recent graduates in Chemistry or other science-related disciplines who are looking to begin their career in a laboratory environment, with a focus on operations and administration rather than hands-on bench work. Short term contract for 3 weeks that could be extended.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to laboratory teams and management
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation
- Coordinate sample tracking, logging, and reporting processes
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and procurement of supplies
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory standards
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and internal communications
