Motor Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester in Lancaster

Hours: 39 hours per week over four days (rolling day off), Saturday AM as per rota paid at overtime rate.

Location: Lancaster Dealership, Lancaster Volkswagen.

You will be based at our Lancaster Volkswagen/SEAT service department. We are looking for people who share our passion for our brands, with experience in servicing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, and who are qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent.

All employees play a vital part in putting the customer first, delivering a great customer experience. As a technician, you will be responsible for:

• Detecting and diagnosing vehicle faults to establish the work required.
• Ensuring that the subsequent work carried out is accurate and timely.
• Vehicle road testing and ensuring vehicle parts are stored and handled correctly.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent.
• Previous e-MOT licence preferable.
• Full brand training will be provided as required.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential.

• Basic Salary is Dependent on Experience, OTE with incentives of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum.
• Overtime available and paid at time and a half.
