This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an IT Assistant specialising in ERP and CRM support, based in London. The IT Assistant will provide technical support to employees and play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the company's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. This role involves troubleshooting ERP and CRM issues, assisting with system upgrades, and ensuring the integration and smooth operation of these systems with other IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • ERP and CRM Support
    • Provide first‑level support for ERP and CRM systems, including troubleshooting issues and assisting users.
    • Assist with system configuration, customization, and upgrades.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP and CRM systems.
    • Collaborate with vendors and consultants for advanced support and system enhancements.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide first‑level support for hardware and software issues not limited to ERP and CRM.
    • Assist employees with troubleshooting technical problems.
    • Install, configure, and update software applications including ERP and CRM modules.
  • Network Maintenance
    • Assist with the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and Wi‑Fi networks.
    • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
    • Ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
  • Hardware and Software Management
    • Maintain and inventory IT hardware, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
    • Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware.
    • Install and update operating systems and software applications, with a focus on ERP and CRM systems.
  • Data Backup and Recovery
    • Perform regular data backups for ERP and CRM systems and ensure data integrity.
    • Assist with data recovery efforts in case of system failures.
  • Security
    • Implement and maintain IT security measures, including antivirus software and firewalls.
    • Ensure security protocols are in place for ERP and CRM systems.
    • Monitor for security breaches and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation
    • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
    • Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of IT assets, including ERP and CRM licenses and modules.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and CRM modules, configurations, and customisations.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in ERP and CRM systems may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Previous experience in IT support with a focus on ERP and CRM systems.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or design environment is a plus.
