We are seeking a proactive and motivated Security Manager to lead our security operation at our Bruntingthorpe site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading automotive businesses, where you\'ll play a key role in protecting our people, customers, vehicles and assets while leading a dedicated team of security professionals.
What You\'ll Be Doing As Security Manager, you\'ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site\'s security function, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading, motivating and developing Security Team Leaders and Security Officers.
- Managing all aspects of site security, including guarding, CCTV, gatehouse operations, key holding and patrols.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COMAH, environmental and company standards.
- Investigating security incidents and implementing preventative measures.
- Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, police and external stakeholders.
- Managing staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, training and performance.
- Conducting risk assessments, audits and departmental reporting.
- Managing departmental budgets and driving continuous improvement.
- Promoting a positive security culture across the site.
We\'re looking for a confident and experienced leader who can inspire their team while maintaining the highest security standards.
We\'ll ideally have
- Extensive experience in a Security Management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Experience managing investigations, risk assessments and compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive information.
- A full UK driving licence
