Ready to turn data into decisions? We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance team and play a key role in driving business performance across our auction and enterprise sales operations. This is much more than a reporting role. You'll partner with senior stakeholders, influence commercial decisions, analyse business performance, and provide the financial insight that helps shape strategy and profitability.
If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems with data, and want a role where your analysis genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Finance Analyst, you'll provide financial and commercial support across the business, helping leaders make informed decisions and identify opportunities for growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering insightful financial and operational performance analysis
- Supporting monthly forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities
- Analysing customer profitability, revenue trends, and commercial performance
- Producing management information and performance reporting for key stakeholders
- Supporting pricing reviews, contract negotiations, and tender submissions
- Calculating and managing sales commission schemes accurately and efficiently
- Building financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities and business initiatives
- Collaborating with Sales, Operations, and senior leadership teams to improve performance
- Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through meaningful data analysis
- Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting, processes, and controls
What We're Looking For
You'll be an analytical thinker who enjoys working with numbers but can also translate financial data into clear business insight. We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Experience within a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Management Accounts environment
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Experience producing financial reports, forecasts, and business analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive approach and desire to improve processes and reporting
- Ambition to develop within a commercial finance function
Desirable
- Studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Exposure to commercial pricing, profitability analysis, or business partnering
Why Join Us?
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial finance career in a business-facing role where you'll have visibility across the organisation and exposure to senior decision-makers. In return, you'll benefit from:
- A highly collaborative and supportive team environment
- Exposure to strategic commercial projects
- Ongoing professional development and study support
- Opportunities to influence business performance and growth
- Flexible working arrangements
- Competitive salary and benefits package
