About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated Buyer Services Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving buyer engagement, supporting sales performance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across our auctions.
Working closely with the Buyer Services Manager, you’ll help ensure our buyers are informed, engaged, and attending sales—both online and in person.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Build Buyer Relationships
- Proactively contact buyers through telesales and marketing activity
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Promote upcoming sales, stock, and services to maximise attendance
🔹 Drive Engagement & Sales Performance
- Increase buyer participation across auctions and events
- Support the conversion of provisional bids into confirmed sales
- Influence where and how buyers engage with our sales channels
🔹 Analyse & Report
- Capture all interactions in Salesforce
- Track campaign performance and buyer trends
- Produce reports and insights to improve future activity
🔹 Support Marketing Campaigns
- Work with central marketing to deliver targeted campaigns
- Help prepare marketing briefs and post-sale reports
- Distribute catalogues and promotional materials to key buyers
🔹 Deliver Great Customer Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for buyer queries
- Gather feedback to improve service and satisfaction
- Support complaint handling where required
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience in telesales, customer service, or telemarketing
✔ Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner
✔ Comfortable working with data (Excel/Salesforce experience desirable)
✔ Highly organised with great attention to detail
✔ A proactive, target-driven mindset
✔ Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
