The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of financial data across all platforms, while enabling business growth through system optimisation and ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of core finance systems, including Coda, Microsoft 365, SAP Concur, and the P2P/S2C system landscape.
  • Maintain and govern system authorisation frameworks (waterfalls), ensuring appropriate approval hierarchies, segregation of duties, and control structures are consistently applied.
  • Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and legal entities through the setup and configuration of system environments, master data, and access controls.
  • Manage updates to the general ledger, cost centre hierarchies, and other core data structures to ensure accuracy and alignment with organisational design.
  • Identify and deliver automation and optimisation opportunities, including the use of AI-enabled tools, to streamline processes and improve Finance efficiency.
  • Drive enhancements to financial and operational reporting, ensuring data is structured, accessible, and fit for decision-making and performance management.
  • Ensure the design and effective operation of robust systems controls to maintain data integrity and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
  • Provide critical systems support to Finance during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, including year-end activities.
  • Manage period roll-forwards and control the opening and closing of accounting periods, ensuring posting rights and system access are appropriately managed.
  • Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to resolve system issues, deliver enhancements, and support broader transformation and change initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong technical expertise in finance systems administration, ideally including Coda, SAP Concur, and P2P/S2C platforms.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes and controls, including ledger structures, cost centre hierarchies, period management, and financial close requirements.
  • Experience supporting system configuration and change initiatives, including master data management, approval workflows, and onboarding of new entities or acquisitions.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements, including automation and AI-enabled efficiencies.
  • Solid knowledge of reporting structures and data models, with the ability to enhance reporting capabilities and provide Finance teams with accurate, actionable information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose system issues, assess impacts, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across Finance, IT, and operational teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within a robust control environment, ensuring compliance with governance, audit, and risk management requirements.
  • Experience delivering system enhancements and upgrades, including testing, documentation, and embedding changes with end users.
