Overview
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Team Leader to lead and guide the Inspection Support Coordinator Team. You’ll be responsible for driving performance through clear, data-led feedback shared in weekly team meetings and regular 1:1s. You’ll also ensure key insights from external audits are communicated effectively, keeping the team informed and engaged. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day leadership tasks including absence management, behaviour and conduct and supporting internal communications (Cascade). This role requires a strong commitment to upholding our policies and leading by example.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly departmental team huddles to share updates, drive performance and maintain team focus.
- Hold monthly 1:1s with Vehicle Inspectors, documenting outcomes.
- Manage HR responsibilities through the HR System, including holiday bookings, absence tracking, etc.
- Complete internal Absence Management training to support effective team oversight.
- Communicate business changes and updates clearly to keep the team informed and aligned.
- Deliver high-quality inductions and ongoing training for new and existing Vehicle Inspectors, setting them up for success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in supervising or leading a team within a vehicle inspection or automotive environment.
- Ability to conduct 1-1s, team meetings and provide constructive feedback.
- Skilled in managing attendance, behaviour and performance in line with company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
