About The Role

As a Vehicle Inventory & Logistics Controller (internally known as a Loose Items Controller), you will manage the handling, tracking and storage of all loose items removed from vehicles prior to any preparation work commencing on the vehicle, ensuring everything is processed accurately and in line with customer requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all loose vehicle items, ensuring items are correctly tracked throughout the vehicle preparation process.
  • Ensure all loose items are securely stored and correctly returned to vehicles once required work on the vehicle has been completed.
  • Update internal systems to reflect stock levels.
  • Carry out monthly stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Support smooth day-to-day operations within the department.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures.
  • Drive vehicles when required (licence permitting).
