We're looking for a Procurement Coordinator (internally referred to as a Cost Coordinator) to support purchasing and cost control activities across 3 operational sites (Bruntingthorpe, Coventry and Wyton). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with systems, processes, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure spend is accurately managed and controlled.

Responsibilities

  • Raising and managing purchase orders accurately within the procurement system
  • Applying correct cost centres and nominal codes
  • Ensuring purchasing activity complies with company policies and approval processes
  • Monitoring and progressing PO approvals
  • Acting as a key contact for supplier queries relating to purchase orders, invoices, and payments
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Supporting managers with procurement processes and system usage
  • Maintaining accurate records and audit trails
  • Helping to improve procurement processes and controls

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and experienced in purchase order administration, procurement, or finance support?
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, finance administration, accounts payable, or a similar role
  • Understanding of purchase order processes and financial controls
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence working with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Experience using procurement systems such as Proactis would be advantageous
  • Automotive or multi-site business experience is beneficial but not essential

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) £27,144
