As a Hub / Vehicle Inspector, you will deliver high-quality and efficient vehicle inspection services to Manheim's customers, ensuring every inspection meets our industry-leading standards for accuracy, consistency, and customer experience.
Based out of our Newton Le Willows location, you will work closely with a team of drivers to plan your daily route and complete inspection appointments allocated by our scheduling team. You will also help ensure drivers are supported in returning to the hub at the end of the day. There is no need to use your own vehicle— you will be provided with a company pool vehicle and fuel card for all work-related travel.
While previous experience is beneficial, it isn’t essential. We have seen great success with individuals from roles such as body shop technicians, SMART repairers, and vehicle damage assessors. What matters most is having a keen eye for detail, a passion for vehicles, and an enjoyment of variety—meeting new people and visiting new locations every day.
What You Will Be Doing- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections in line with Manheim's Standard Operating Procedures and the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Policy, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reports are produced for use in auctions and by customers. (Full training will be provided during induction.)
- Carry out all inspections in accordance with predefined processes, procedures, and quality standards to maintain consistency and accuracy across all assessments.
- Capture high-quality vehicle photographs, ensuring all images meet Manheim's current inspection and presentation standards.
- Follow key management procedures to ensure all vehicle keys are correctly stored, tracked, and traceable at all times.
