About The Role

In this role, you are responsible for planning efficiently and proactively adapting to change, to increase the utilisation of our own fleet within your assigned regions. A strong understanding of individual vendor requirements for your specific sites is essential. You will also be expected to communicate effectively and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and drivers in your region. Additionally, you will coordinate and manage the logistical planning of collections and deliveries, ensuring resources are used cost-effectively and overall performance is optimised. All responsibilities must be carried out while working within defined KPIs and customer SLAs, consistently delivering service excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of planning and coordinating vehicle movements in line with SLAs and business expectations.
  • Responsible for the efficient allocation of vehicles, making smart, cost-effective decisions that optimise fleet usage and reduce reliance on subcontractors.
  • Negotiate with third-party providers to secure the best value for outsourced movements.
  • Maintain accurate transport documentation, complete timely internal and customer reports, and use data insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with branches, drivers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and seamless delivery of service, always keeping the customer at the heart of what we do.
