As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll report to the Head of Communications for Europe and take charge of enhancing our brand presence and employer reputation across social platforms. This isn’t just about managing posts – it’s about crafting stories, sparking conversations, and building lasting connections with our community.
You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to manage all social media channels for Cox Automotive and its product brands while being supported by an experienced Communications team. Collaborating closely with our Marketing Leads, you’ll shape a unified social strategy that balances creativity, analytics, and audience insights.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and execute a unified social media strategy for multiple brands, ensuring relevance and impact.
- Manage and grow our social media accounts, working on both organic and paid campaigns.
- Stay ahead of trends, using audience insights to craft engaging, innovative strategies.
- Respond and engage with our community, fostering loyalty and meaningful connections.
- Craft compelling content, from snappy copy to eye-catching visuals and videos.
- Use analytics to monitor performance, optimise campaigns, and share actionable insights.
- Support influencers with creative assets and authentic messaging to extend our reach.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Expertise in LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms.
- Skilled in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Exceptional copywriting and multimedia content creation skills.
- Creative, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for real-time engagement.
- Strong organisational skills and stakeholder management experience.
