About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-focused Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team within Manheim Inspection Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations while building strong relationships with suppliers. You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and transactions accurately and on time
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
- Managing invoice approvals through workflow systems
- Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining account accuracy
- Handling supplier queries and payment issues professionally
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice queries
- Supporting process improvements and general administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience
- Experience using ERP or finance systems
- Customer service or supplier-facing experience
