What you’ll be doingAs an Application Support Analyst, you will:
- Keep applications running seamlessly by proactively monitoring and resolving issues.
- Deliver high‑quality support with a customer‑first mindset.
- Act as a technical escalation point and collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.
- Support upgrades, patches, and deployments through robust change control processes.
- Produce and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical guides.
- Identify improvements that enhance performance, stability, and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with data, security, and organisational standards.
- Participate in out‑of‑hours support when needed.
We’re looking for someone with a strong blend of technical knowledge, problem‑solving ability, and a proactive “can‑do” attitude. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in an Application Support or similar ITIL‑aligned environment.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL Server, relational databases, T‑SQL, XML, HTML.
- Exposure to integration/messaging platforms (BizTalk, MuleSoft) and APIs.
- Understanding of networking basics (DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Knowledge of C# and .NET.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk).
- Experience using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Ability to produce clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Experience with system checks, maintenance activities, RCA, configuration management, testing and deployment processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative working style.
- A flexible, curious mind and eagerness to keep learning.
